Steps to Obtain a C of O in Lagos State

1. Obtain and Submit Application Form: 


Purchase and complete the application form from the Lands Bureau at the Secretariat in Alausa, Ikeja.


2. Submit Required Documents: 


Submit the application along with:

1. Formal cover letter.

2. Land Information/Chart Survey Plan (from the Surveyor General's Office).

3. Proof of publication in a newspaper.

4. Passport photographs with white background.

5. Tax Clearance Certificate.

6. Payment receipts (application form, processing, etc.).



3. Site Inspection and Verification: 


Government officials inspect the site to verify the land exists, check boundaries, and ensure it is not under government acquisition.


4. Land Charting:


 The Surveyor General's office ensures the site does not conflict with existing state projects or other owners.
